B. Screen Time API

TaskLock uses Apple's Screen Time API (FamilyControls, DeviceActivity, and ManagedSettings) to block distracting apps while you have active locking tasks.

• We do not have access to the names, icons, or identities of the apps you choose to block.
• Apple provides us with opaque tokens that we use to enforce the blocks. We never transmit these tokens off your device.

C. Telemetry and Analytics

To improve TaskLock, we collect anonymous usage data (telemetry). This data does not contain personally identifiable information or the contents of your tasks/habits.

• We track anonymous events (e.g., "Task Completed", "App Blocked", "Subscription Purchased").
• This helps us understand how the App is used and identify bugs or performance issues.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To Provide the Service: We use your local data and Screen Time permissions strictly to provide the core functionality of the App (blocking apps until tasks are completed).
• To Improve the App: Anonymous telemetry helps us prioritize new features and fix bugs.
• To Process Purchases: If you purchase a premium subscription, payment processing is handled securely by Apple and RevenueCat. We do not have access to your credit card information.

3. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect the limited information we collect. Since your core data remains on your device, it is protected by the security mechanisms of iOS (such as your passcode or Face ID).

4. Third-Party Services

TaskLock utilizes the following third-party services:

• Apple (App Store & Screen Time): For app distribution, Screen Time API, and subscription billing.
• RevenueCat: For validating and managing premium subscriptions.
• Aptabase: For collecting anonymous usage data.
